Legacy Team Market Snapshot: Wheaton and DuPage County continue to demonstrate remarkable strength even as broader market signals point to transition. In August, Wheaton’s median sales price held at $495,000, with homes selling in just 7 days and closing at 102% of list price. DuPage County also held firm, with an average sale price near $526,000, more than 850 sales, and homes averaging 18 days on market. Yet at the regional level, new data from MRED highlights shifting momentum: closed listings fell to a six-month low, down 40% week-over-week in early September and 16% below last year’s pace.
